Freeform network’s Young & Hungry Season 4 finale could bring the relationship of Josh Kaminski?s (Jonathan Sadowski) and Gabi Diamond (Emily Osment) to a whole new level. Despite the show?s good ratings, it looks like season 5 has been cancelled and we?re having a spin-off instead.
According to the synopsis for the final episode, ?Young & Screwed,? Gabi, Sofia (Aimee Carrero), and Yolanda (Kym Whitley) spend time at Josh’s place because their building is currently being treated after it was seriously infected by termites. Gabi feels uncomfortable of having to stay at Josh?s. Viewers may see how the two will handle the awkward situation between them, or perhaps it could also lead into something else.
Meanwhile, Alan is thinking about a weekend getaway. Elliot does not seem so cheerful, so he hopes a stay at Josh?s penthouse could somehow make her happier.
The cancellation of the Young and Hungry Season 5 seems to get clearer as we obtain no confirmations that it will be renewed until today. This could mean that we are having a spin-off instead of another season.
According to reports, the sitcom earned reputable ratings and secure audience share. This means a Young and Hungry Season 5 renewal could most likely happen anytime. However, fans are still waiting and we are not even sure if this could happen. Several viewers are very expressive about catching a new season while others already posted a threat that they will get mad if they don?t.
