Sony has introduced new Xperia X series including Xperia X, XA and X Performance. The Xperia X performance is a high-end device with superior hardware configuration. It will compete with HTC One M10 and Moto Z Force.
The new device will be available in two variants with single and dual Sim support like other Xperia X devices. Other specs will be same.
Xperia X Performance will be powered by Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor and Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo CPU. Adreno 530 GPU will be there to manage and boost the performance of video and graphics. It is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory expandable up to 256GB. Xperia XA will run Android Marshmallow v6.0.1.
Xperia XA will be fitted with 5-inch Triluminos display with X-Reality Engine will provide resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 441 ppi density. Capacitive touchscreen is protected by scratch-resistant glass with oleophobic coating and offers multiple touch option up to ten fingers.
A superior main camera of 23MP will there with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The main camera features 24mm sensor, geo-tagging, HDR and panorama mode. Moreover, it features 5x Clear Image Zoom and auto-scene Recognition. It can also shoot 1080 pixel videos at 30 frames per second. The front camera of 13MP with 22mm sensor size also have autofocus and HDR options.
The device will be powered by 2700 mAh Li-Ion non-removeable battery.
Other features include fingerprint reader, accelerometer, barometer, compass, gyro and proximity sensors. Quick Charge 2.0 will fully charge battery in less than an hour.
Xperia X Performance will roughly cost $1111, Xperia X will cost around $670. The base model will come with $350 price tag.
The company announced the device back in February at Mobile World Congress also known as MWC. The first shipment will roll out on June 26 to pre-order customer in America. To pre-order the device, please visit the company’s website.
