Although ?Selfies? aren?t ?new, Sony is giving a little more emphasis to them with their upcoming phone, which is to be announced tomorrow. Sony teased this one as a ?selfie?-focused phone that will be alongside another smartphone model called Xperia Z2a in Taiwan tomorrow.
Sony can try to keep things quiet about this ?selfie? phone, but fortunately, ePrice, a Taiwanese gadget website, might have ?accidentally? leaked details about the phone in question. They have posted several images of the mystery phone as well as a video of it in action. It would seem like the phone is likely to be Sony?s Xperia C3.
Another user from Esato posted images of the phone to be announced tomorrow, with its back cover removed. It also shows the former name ?Gina? on the phone as Xperia C3 used to be called ?Project Gina.
So what exactly is so cool about this phone? As it is focused on taking your selfies, the phone has a dedicated flash on the front camera, and that is a very good thing, especially in dark situations where you can barely see yourself or your friends while taking a candid photo. It is not revealed on how much megapixels the phone?s camera will pack, but it is most likely that it will be from around 5 to 8-megapixels.
Aside from the snapper, Xperia C3 will most likely be in the mid-range specifications. Based on the photos, it will be powered by a 2500 mAh battery, which is quite powerful enough for its large 5? display. The resolution is not yet determined, but we can bet that it would be at an HD resolution of 720P or higher.
The smartphone will also be available in two color variants, which are black and turquoise.
Aside from these ?potential? specifications, not much is known about the Xperia C3, but we will learn more about it tomorrow as it goes public.
