Xiaomi is apparently very keen to bring in the now-famous ?dual-camera setup? to its smartphones. Many high-end flagships like LG G5 and?Huawei P9 come with this camera feature. A new report from China says the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will also feature a dual-camera setup.
Similar to Samsung?s Note series, Xiaomi?s Note lineup has also garnered impressive reviews and loyal fans over a period of time. The difference between the two devices, however, comes down to the type of configurations onboard. While Samsung always packs top-of-the-shelf specifications, thereby commanding a premium price tag, Xiaomi is known to bundle the Note series with mid-range specs and an affordable price tag.
Regardless of the category of handsets, smartphone cameras have been changing drastically from the time such a concept was introduced. The camera dynamics has changed from featuring big sensors, to tweaking the internal configurations so as to get the same effect with moderate lens. To top it off, we have dual-LED-flash and OIS support to get the perfect shot. But now, it?s time for the dual-camera setup to rule the roost.
The?leaked teaser attached below reportedly shows the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 phablet. It?s very clear from the image that the upcoming device will flaunt a rear dual-camera setup. LED flash can be seen sandwiched between the camera sensors. Xiaomi logo has been placed way below the camera unit on the white back shell.
Furthermore, the photo also shows slightly curved corners. However, the front side cannot be seen from the teaser and hence, there is no way to confirm how deep the curves are. In any case, marginal curves improve the grip of the handset.
The leaked Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 photo doesn?t show a fingerprint scanner at the back. Hence, it?s safe to assume that the Chinese tech titan might have placed this sensor at the front, embedded right inside the home button, similar to the flagship Xiaomi Mi 5.
Meanwhile,?GSM Arena says the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 specifications list will include a 5.5-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of native memory.
