Xiaomi has informed the media that it will be holding an unveil event on July 27 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Xiaomi Mi Notebook rumors are rife, and it?s said that the company may unveil the device at the launch event.
The media invitation from Xiaomi does not clearly reveal the products that will be unveiled at the upcoming launch event. However, according to Gizmo China, the director of Xiaomi?s new media has revealed through his Weibo account that the company will announce two products on July 27.
Speculations are rife that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone will be unveiled alongside ?the Xiaomi Mi Notebook. The Redmi Note 4 is reportedly powered by Helio X20 chipset from MediaTek. One of the USPs of the smartphone will be its dual-camera setup.
According to the recent Xiaomi Mi Notebook rumors, the upcoming laptop from the Chinese firm is expected to arrive in two sizes: 12.5 inches and 13.3 inches. Both variants are rumored to support full HD resolution. A recently leaked image of the notebook revealed that it will be sporting silver aluminum chassis.
Its design appears to be very similar to that of Apple?s MacBook Pro notebook. The Mi branding on top of the device also appears similar to the Apple logo in MacBook devices. The leaked photo does not reveal the ports of the device.
Previous rumors have revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Notebook will be available in Intel Skylake chipset variants like Core i5 and Core i7. It is expected to come preinstalled with Windows 10. Rumors have it that it will feature up to 8GB of RAM.
As far as pricing is concerned, Xiaomi Mi Notebook rumors indicate that its base model will be priced around $450. Xiaomi is also rumored to be working on several devices such as Xiaomi Mi 5s, Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and Xiaomi Smartwatch. These devices are expected to be released within this year.
