Xiaomi has just released its high-end handsets, Redmi Note 2 and a bezelless Xiaomi Mi Mix a couple of weeks ago. Reports claim that the company is already working on a new handset Xiaomi Meri aka Mi 5c. The company could release its new device on December 12.
Xiaomi Meri Specs
Although Xiaomi has not revealed anything about Xiaomi Meri, well known tipster, KJuma claims that the device could be released with Xiaomi?s own Pine Cone processor. Moreover, he also mentioned that the device will feature a bezel less display like recently released Mi Mix or could have slim borders at the edges.

Xiaomi Meri is expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution at 403 ppi density.
Specs of the so-called device recently surfaced on GeekBench. The benchmarking site claims that Xiaomi Meri will have a 3GB RAM and its processor will be clocked at 1.4GHz. A Mali T860 Graphics Unit would be there to share the load. ?Moreover, the device will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi is reported to be working on a MIUI 9 update based on the latest Android 7.0 nougat. If the company actually releases Xiaomi Meri by the end of this year, it is high likely that it will receive Nougat update sooner than later.
Moreover, the device will be launched in rose gold, gold and black colors, but no white variant. Xiaomi would launch the new smartphone for CNY 1,499 that is equivalent to $217.59. However, the price could vary in different regions, reported Gadgets 360.
