Bandai Namco has announced more of the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4 contents in a recent livestream. A new set of characters, story mode, quests, attacks, and costumes are confirmed to be launch this June 27. Here’s what we know about the DLC pack 4 release.
Contents and Release Date
Fans already know that Fused Zamasu and Super Saiyan Blue Vegito is going to be released this June 2017 as revealed in its Season Pass content. However, fans are in for a treat as the developers have showcased more new content in the stream in DLC Pack 4.
The presenters also mentioned that there are going to be three parallel quests, five new attacks, five Super Souls, and two costumes included in this paid DLC.
Aside from customization options, the Warrior of Hope story mode that features the Future Trunks Saga will also be included in this DLC. Additionally, the expansion will also add the Devastated Future World stage. In the Dragon Ball story canon, Future Trunks has always been helping out the main Dragon Ball protagonists in their battles to weed out threats as early as possible to save his timeline.
Additionally, a free version of the DLC Pack 4 that contains different content is also available soon. Its release date wasn’t mentioned but is expected to be released earlier or along with the paid DLC Pack 4. This pack includes Oozaru and Yajirobe costumes available through the TP Medal shop. Other than that, cosmetic accessories were added like an Oozaru face, Oozaru tail, Saiyan’s tail, and a Earthling-exclusive Majin Symbol mark. Additionally, new character versions like Future Trunks, Kid Trunks, and the Super Saiyan Blue versions of Goku and Vegeta are also included.
The free update also brings non-cosmetic content like five new attack moves and raid bosses. The two new raid bosses are Future Trunks and Bojack. Similar to previous raid bosses, expect these enemies to have a few tricks up their sleeve.
What’s Next For Dragon Ball Fans
The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4 is the last expansion for the game. After that, players can only hope for Bandai Namco to push out more free content to support this multiplayer title.
Fortunately, Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment are working on Dragon Ball FighterZ, a 3v3 2.5D fighter coming for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2018. For now, Dragon Ball fans can expect more Dragon Ball video games in the future.
The Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC Pack 4 costs $9.99 if you’re buying it separately. June 27 is almost a week away so just hang on for a little while for these new content.
