Xbox chief Phil Spencer has also confirmed that 2017 will be the year of the Scorpio. But the sad news is that the Xbox Scorpio will be a costly console. ?It will be a premium version of an Xbox One and we?ll talk more about pricing as we?re cutting it closer to the launch and everything else. I?m confident that we?ll be able to deliver a product at a price point that gamers will feel like is worth it,? Spencer said.

According to Dream Team FC, Microsoft?s Xbox Scorpio is not likely to attract more customers. It will not be an interesting product by the time it comes out. Xbox Scorpio will pack an eight-core CPU coupled with a graphics card boasting 6TFLOPs (trillion floating point operations per second) of power. The device will sport 320GB/sec of memory bandwidth. It will pack PC graphics card ? the 6.5TFLOPS Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070. But when Scorpio comes out, the GTX ?1070 will lose its charm. Because Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti will be available in the market then.

Xbox Scorpio will support VR and 4K gaming. There is also a rumor that Microsoft is installing an AMD Vega CPU and a 5GB DDR5 RAM into the Xbox Scorpio. The device is likely to cost $600.

?We?re making a pretty big bet on that with Project Scorpio. We?re basically saying, ?This isn?t a new generation; everything you have continues forward and it works?. We think of this as a family of devices. But we?ll see. We?re going to learn from this, we?re going to see how that goes,? said Aaron Greenberg, head of Xbox games marketing at Microsoft.

According to Windows Central, the Universal Windows Platform will create awesome games for Scorpio. ?The titles like Gears of War 4, ReCore and Forza Horizon 3 are getting ready to join Project Scorpio.
