Microsoft?s upcoming gaming console Xbox Scorpio has been in the rumor mill since it was announced during the company?s press conference at Electronic Entertainment Expo. Microsoft is now offering discounts on its current Xbox One. This could be an indication towards the launch of Xbox Scorpio.

Microsoft is offering as ?20.00 discount on the Xbox One Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Bundle. This discount is available for UK customers only. The actual price of the bundle is ?299.99. Under this offer, customers can grab it for ?279.99. The company could be looking to clear the inventories of Xbox One So, Xbox fans can expect the Xbox Scorpio soon. Moreover, the company is also offering a 40% discount on Xbox LIVE Gold Membership for 3 months. UK customers can buy Xbox One from the Microsoft Store.

Recently, GameRant has reported the discount on Xbox One for United States customers. According to their report, Xbox One bundles are now available for $279. The bundles with 1TB model of Xbox One are available for $299. The offer is valid till until October 1, 2016.

Microsoft has not released any statement regarding the release of Xbox Scorpio. This discount on the price of Xbox One is clear signal that the company is all set to release its new gaming console. However, Microsoft will not release the Xbox Scorpio before 2017 as the company is supposed to launch Xbox One S in fourth quarter this year. Earlier it was expected that the company will not launch the Xbox Scorpio before the end of 2017.

Xbox One S is actually an improved version of current Xbox One. It is 40% smaller than the current Xbox One. However, the size will not affect its performance. It has more features than the current model. Xbox One S supports 4K videos and high dynamic range (HDR). Blu-Ray support is also there to play high definition discs. Note that the 4K support is not for video games.

On the other hand, Xbox Scorpio is supposed to roll out with 4K gaming and VR support. It will mainly compete with Sony?s upcoming gaming console, PlayStation Neo.
