Microsoft has officially announced its new gaming consoles, Xbox One S and Xbox Scorpio. The company made the announcement during its press conference at Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3.

Microsoft is all set for the release of its Xbox One S gaming consoles. It will be available in three variants with different onboard storage capacities. The company has set quite reasonable price for the Xbox One S.

According to CNet, the company will launch the first variant at the end of August. The high-end 2TB model will cost $399. The company will start shipping the product to pre-order customers on August 31. The other variant 1TB model will cost $349 and will be released in the following month or later. The base model will have 500GB onboard storage and will cost $299. It will not be available until Q4 this year.

Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the current Xbox One. However, the size will not affect its performance. It has more features than the ?current model. Xbox One S supports 4K videos and high dynamic range (HDR). Blu-Ray support is also there to play high definition Blu-Ray disks. Note that the 4K support is not for video games.

The new console will lack a dedicated Kinect port as part of the Slim redesign. However, it remains an optional add-on for the Xbox One S. To claim the free Kinect adapter, users need to you need to supply Microsoft the serial numbers of all three devices – your original Xbox One console, the Kinect, and your new Xbox One S.

Microsoft has also improved its controllers. The new controller offers a new textured grip and better range. The controller is equipped with Bluetooth support. It will connect to PC, TV and even tablets via Bluetooth. The new controller will cost $59.99 and is compatible with Xbox One.
