Starting March 20, you can pick up an Xbox One for just $300. As part of Microsoft?s upcoming Spring Sale, the company is dropping the price of its flagship console by $50. According to Xbox Director of Programming Larry ?Major Nelson? Hryb, this discount also covers all console bundles.

Get an Xbox One for Just $300

?That?s $50 off all Xbox One console bundles at participating retailers in the US including the Xbox One Tom Clancy?s The Division Bundle that launched this month, the Xbox One 500GB Name Your Game Bundle which lets you choose one of four great games, and even the upcoming Xbox One Special Edition Quantum Break Bundle.? Said Hryb in the announcement.

The $300 price point is the lowest the console has retailed for since its launch 2 years ago and makes it a full $50 cheaper than its rival: the PlayStation 4. Only time will tell whether this aggressive pricing strategy will help Microsoft close the gap on Sony?s so far unstoppable machine.

No word was made regarding when the promotion would end so you better act fast.

It?s not just hardware that?s getting discounted either. On March 22, Microsoft is slashing up to 60% off on many of the games, movies, and TV shows available at the Xbox Online Store. The announcement mentions markdowns on top titles like Fallout 4, Far Cry Primal, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III. PC titles on the Windows store are also getting their prices dropped, so be sure to check there as well.

Xbox Live Gold members will receive up to an additional 10% off on these deals, so it may be wise to subscribe before doing your shopping.
