Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Update: New Titles Coming This January; Plus See Latest Ones That Arrived on the Feature

Like what has been announced last week, Microsoft will not be releasing new Xbox One backwards compatibility titles for the month of December. Instead, they released a series of titles just before Christmas day and promised to launch the rest on January. Nevertheless, Xbox head Phil Spencer teased the new titles for January are absolutely interesting.

That being said, we?re giving you a recap of the latest titles that arrived on the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature. Also, some spoilers on what to expect next month for the BC feature. On Twitter, fans kept asking Spencer about the upcoming titles and despite his avoidance of revealing specific titles, he implied that the new titles will not be subpar.

Recent Xbox One backwards compatibility update

As for the latest titles that arrived on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list; Microsoft released ?Skydive,? ?Planets Under Attack,? ?Catherine,? ?Raskulls? and ?Bully Scholarship Ed.? Prior to that, Microsoft also revealed their Free Xbox Live Games with Gold for January as part of their treat to fans this holiday season.

Meanwhile, the Bioshock Trilogy has also arrived on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list. The trilogy consisting of Bioshock, Bioshock 2 and Bioshock Infinite has been a long time coming for the Microsoft feature. In fact, along with the announcement of ?Red Dead Redemption? coming to the BC feature; Microsoft has promised the arrival of the three titles.

If you?re wondering about the fan favorite among the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, the titles include the Bioshock Trilogy, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Mass effect 2, Mass Effect 3, Call of Duty: World at War, Red Dead Redemption, Lost Odyssey and Call of Duty Black Ops.

Unfortunately, despite the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 making a short appearance on the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, the title still didn?t make it on the feature. White everyone seems to expect its arrival during the holiday season; it looks like Microsoft has not been keen on releasing it yet for the Microsoft feature.
