Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

Xbox One owners have a lot to be happy about as there are several Xbox 360 titles that are going to be playable on the Xbox One. This time, there are some great new additions to the program, giving Xbox One owners a bigger gaming library and hours more of fun. Without further ado, here are the new additions to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility list courtesy of Microsoft?s Major Nelson.

  • Fallout New Vegas
  • D&D: Chronicles of Mystara
  • Blood Knights
  • Red Faction Battleground
  • Joe Danger
  • Crystal Quest
  • Comic Jumper
  • I Am Alive

The first thing that easily catches the attention of players is none other than Fallout New Vegas. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Fallout New Vegas was released after Fallout 3, and its features are similar to it as well. The game was received well, but just like Bethesda?s other titles, it had some performance issues from the start. When Fallout 4 launched, Bethesda bundled it with a copy of Fallout 3, which is one of the initial titles for the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program. The Xbox One now has a total of three Fallout games in its library.

Another good title to grab is I Am Alive, a survival game developed by Ubisoft Shanghai. The title includes basic survival game features like scavenging, item management, stealth and more. Additionally, players have to keep a lookout on the stamina of their character to keep safe.

The other games, on the other hand, though not well-received and as impressive as Fallout New Vegas or I Am Alive, are still decent titles to have.

For those unfamiliar with the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program, it?s very easy to use. First step is to secure a copy of any compatible title like those above. Physical or digital copies will both do, and playing them is as easy as popping in the disk or downloading the game.
