February is almost over, and fans of Microsoft are now hungry for the new batch of free games for the month of March. Just like with PlayStation Plus? free games program, Microsoft?s Games with Gold program has been a success for quite some time as those with Gold Membership can avail for free games and the line ups may differ per month, but once they registered those games on their account, they can play them for free as long as their Gold Membership subscription is still active.

Now for the rumors on what new games will be offered for Games with Gold for March, however the following information are not officially announced by Microsoft yet, but from a source that came out in the forums of HotUKDeals. Though the legibility of the source can be dubious, however the informant from the forum has already provided some leaks for Games with Gold before, and both of these were accurate. But of course despite how accurate the information may be, it is still not from the official source and it is recommended that everyone should take this information with a grain of salt.

Here are the reported games that will be in the upcoming Games with Gold March release:

Xbox One

  • 1st March – 31st March – Crimes and Punishments: Sherlock Holmes
  • 16th March – 15th April – Lords of the Fallen

Xbox 360

  • 1st March – 15th March – Supreme Commander 2
  • 16th March – 31st March – Borderlands

So far the most interesting game in the batch is Borderlands from Gearbox Software, for those who have not played a single Borderlands game, this should a great start for you, it is a first person shooter with elements of Role-playing game where your character will progress and can acquire a large amount of guns with different stats and elements, plus you can play this on your Xbox One thanks to the Backward Compatibility feature.
