Microsoft has always had two games released for the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 through backwards compatibility. Every month, subscribers of the service receive free games from Microsoft for them to play on their consoles. As mentioned, two of them will be for the Xbox One only while the other two will be playable on the Xbox 360 as well as Xbox One. For next month, the same thing continues. Without much further ado, here is the list of Xbox Games with Gold predictions for January 2017.

First up on the Xbox One is the Watchdogs. Following the successful release of its sequel, many fans are still clamoring for the original game. This open world game developed by Ubisoft takes place in Chicago – envisioned in the future.

One more for the Xbox One is Mad Max, the post apocalyptic game based on the movie of the same title. Like Watchdogs, Mad Max is also an open world game but this time around, in a very distant future. Set in a place devoid of any natural resources, the story follows the protagonist as he seeks revenge from a gang of raiders.

Moving on to the Xbox 360, Ironman 2 seems like the top pick for the roster. Released in 2010, this game is perfect for all Marvel fans, especially of the Ironman. As with the movie, the Ironman is joined by War Machine as they try to stop the separatists lead by General Shatalov. General Shatalov and his master plan of replicating the Ironman suit has resulted in the creation of Crimson Dynamo. However, War Machine and Ironman overpowered him only to reveal that there is another suit in the works–the Ultimo.

Finally, last on the list is Sniper Elite V2 which was originally released in 2012. The main reason why this game is included is the fact that a new sequel will be released early next year. Having it in the roster will help build more interest for the upcoming Sniper Elite 4.
