Last week, Microsoft featured the titles ?Banner Saga 2? and Tom Clancy?s ?Rainbow Six: Vegas 2? in the Xbox Games with Gold for July. Now, it looks like they have added two more titles in the feature, ?Tumblestone?? and ?Tron: Evolution.? If you haven?t been updated on the dates when these titles will be available, check out the schedules and see whether or not you can still get the games for free.
According to IGN, the Xbox Games with Gold titles have the following scheduled date of availability online in terms of its free trial:
- Banner Saga 2 (July 1 – 31)
- Tumblestone (July 16 – August 15)
- Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (July 1 – 15)
- Tron: Evolution (July 16 – 31)
Take note that Xbox Games with Gold are also Xbox One backwards compatibility ready. Previously, ?Goat Simulator? and ?XCOM: Enemy Unknown? have also been featured in Microsoft?s Xbox Games with Gold for July. Unfortunately, no specific dates were set for the two games. However, as they were announced to be available this July, players will have to keep an eye on the Major Nelson website for the latest update.
It may sound new but the ?Banner Saga 2? has been launched on the PC platform as early as April and Tumblestone hails from an indie developer called ?The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild.? Xbox ?Live Games with Gold are games developed for the Xbox One backwards compatibility feature. These games normally come for free to all Xbox Live Gold Members on a specific download schedule. If you happen to miss the game on the scheduled date, you have to purchase them on their regular price.
If you happen to have them on your Xbox 360, the titles will automatically appear on your Xbox One Store, otherwise, you may need to manually download the title on your Xbox One console. According to the Major Nelson website, titles may also vary in certain regions, so always check whether you have them already or not.
