The Xbox Games with Gold lineup for August changes up next week as WWE 2K16 and Beyond Good & Evil HD will be available starting August 16. However, fans are sorely disappointed with the some of the titles released for August and are already clamouring for much more power packed games for Games with Gold September line-up.

Though things remain largely unclear as to what Microsoft may decide to bring up in its new line of free games for both Xbox One and Xbox 360, there are several rumors as usual about the possible titles making it to Xbox Live Gold members.

Red Dead Redemption

The game that could possibly make to the list this month is Rockstar Games? Red Dead Redemption. Rumors of the 2010 title making it to Gold lineup have been going long since as fans expected to feature in July and later in August free game list.

It has higher chances of landing in Games with Gold list later next month as the sequel of original title – Red Dead Redemption 2 is expected to be showcased at GamesCom next week. The developer?s latest financial report hinted that the studio ?is hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon.? It would make perfect sense to release the original Red Dead Redemption as the perfect time frame will generate a lot of hype for their latest title.

Dead Rising 3

Another popular title is the Dead Rising 3, which similarly was expected to be part of the previous Xbox Gold lineups. The Xbox gaming community long standing demand for this title may possibly tilt Microsoft to include this title. Then again the Capcom and Microsoft Studios? franchise is seeing release of next Dead Rising 4 later in December. The critically acclaimed title, however, stands less of a chance to feature in the upcoming Gold title list.

Others

Then there is Microsoft?s own Ryse: Son of Rome that was developed by Crytek Frankfurt. The game isn?t much impressive and fans are expecting Microsoft to make free for Gold subscribers in September. ?There could even be a possible free title from Square Enix as the Japanese developers clearly has the biggest lineup of games planned for its GamesCom 2016 event.

Of course, all of these are mere rumors so it would be better not to hope much. Microsoft may possibly reveal their list after the GamesCom at Cologne, Germany packs up next week. It is likely their new choices would be influenced by the much hyped event where several of developers have a pretty impressive lineup of games.

Meanwhile, be sure to check out the August list and before the offer expires pick up Spelunky that is available both for Xbox One and Xbox 360 till August the 15th.
