With July fast approaching, gamers are busy speculating which titles will be coming to Xbox Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus. There?s a number of games rumored to be coming to both services in the near future.
Playstation gamers have pegged The Evil Within as a likely candidate for inclusion sometime in the near future, while Xbox users are hoping that aging Xbox One exclusives like Ryse: Son of Rome and Forza Horizon 2 make the cut.
However, on the flip side, there are also a number of games that u probably won?t come to either service any time soon. Here?s a list of games you shouldn?t expect to see.
Games getting the remaster treatment usually have little to no chance of appearing as free titles. The most high-profile game that fits this description is the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. A lot of Xbox One gamers were hoping to see the title as a backwards-compatible Xbox Games with Gold release, but the recent remaster announcement pretty much ended that speculation.
Luckily for them, Fallout: New Vegas was just announced as a new backwards-compatible title, so there are still ways to get your classic Bethesda fix on current-gen systems.
Old titles being bundled in pre-orders are also unlikely candidates for PS Plus and Games with Gold. This includes games like South Park: The Stick of Truth, which is being given away free to those who purchase next entry in the series, The Fractured but Whole.
