Xbox Games With Gold January 2017

As promised last month, Xbox Live Gold subscribers have received five Xbox Games with Gold free titles this?December. Fans are now awaiting the Xbox Games with Gold January 2017 lineup announcement from Microsoft which could be their holiday treat for the players. Here are some potential games that might be included in the Xbox Games with Gold January 2017.

Vanilla Skyrim

Last October, Bethesda Software released the Skyrim Definitive Edition for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Potentially, this release makes the Xbox One backwards compatible version of Vanilla Skyrim seem like a pointless release. However, while the?Bioshock series have been remastered, it also?received a backwards compatible release just recently. With these odds, it?s not entirely impossible for the Xbox 360 version of Skyrim to appear in the Xbox Games With Gold January 2017 lineup.

Dead Space 2 and 3

Currently, the first Dead Space and the Dead Space Ignition spinoff already have?backwards compatibility support, but none of its sequels are there. Additionally, there?s no news of a next game or spinoffs since Dead Space 3 released in 2013. An Xbox One backwards Compatibility release may be more possible than an actual sequel. Alternatively, fans may see it in the Xbox Games with Gold January 2017 lineup if EA plans to reintroduce the series soon.

December Lineup So Far

According to the official Xbox Games with Gold December 2016 lineup video, the current games available this month are action-focused titles: Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition and Outlast for the Xbox One. Meanwhile, Xbox 360 owners will receive Outland and Burnout Paradise this December. Microsoft may continue this trend with more memorable action games for this Xbox Games With Gold January 2017 lineup.

Microsoft still hasn?t announced its lineup for this January. The previous Xbox Games With Gold lineup video was released last November 22, so it?s possible that we?ll get the announcement next week. For now, we?ll have to wait for Microsoft?s holiday surprise to its premium subscribers.
