As August is approaching, Xbox Live Gold subscribers are curious to know about what titles would be added to the line up. Although Microsoft has not yet revealed the Xbox Games with Gold free titles next month, here are some games that subscribers can expect in Games with Gold for August 2016.

Red Dead Redemption

It is likely that Red Dead Redemption could be introduced to the August list as it was supposed to be included in the July lineup. Red Dead Redemption was developed by Rockstar San Diego and published by Rockstar Games. The game was released in May 2010. There are rumors about the release of its sequel during Gamescom 2016. With a successful Xbox One backwards compatibility for the game, Microsoft could this wild west game to bolster hype for the sequel.

 

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

Another highly anticipated game is Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition. The chances for this game are high because it is has already been a few years since it released and is already cheap in retail stores. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition was developed by United Front Games and Square Enix London and published by Square Enix. It was released in August 2012.

Ryse: Son of Rome

Ryse: Son of Rome is developed by Crytek Frankfurt and published by Microsoft Studios. This launch title from Microsoft failed to make an impression. Microsoft could at least impress its Gold subscribers by adding this game to the list. Ryse: Son of Rome was released on November 22, 2013.

 

Subscribers can also expect Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and Skate 3 in the August Xbox Games with Gold lineup as they have long been in-progress for backwards compatibility.

Games currently available

Xbox one owners can still download The Banner Saga 2, TRON Evolution, Rainbow Six Vegas 2. All these games are available until July 31. The Banner Saga 2 is available for Xbox One users only while they can play the latter two under the backward compatibility program. Moreover, for Xbox one Tumble Stone is also available until August 15.
