This year?s E3 sent a clear message to all gamers. The future of video games is looking brighter with the upcoming titles ON the next-Gen. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will surely have the spotlight next year. Time will come where you will need to save up some serious dough in order to keep up with the latest releases, but for now, you can still cling with your Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 as there are still boatloads of games scheduled to be released for them.

One good ?excuse? to keep playing your previous-generation console is the fact that Microsoft still has games with ?Gold? and Sony?s PlayStation Plus program which offers free Last-Gen games for a monthly basis. What?s not to like about FREE FULL AAA games?

Not all games are to be made for free, but used copies of games for the last gen can cost as low as $10. With games like Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Metal Gear Solid 4: Sons of The Patriots, Halo 4, Gears of War, $10 is definitely a steal price for the experience. Some would even sell for $1. If you?re still looking for some games to distract you off while saving up for the next-gen, you could definitely find a lot with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3?s extensive library of games.

So much for the old games, there?s still a HUGE number of games that are coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Even Microsoft said that they believe that the 360 would still be around for more than a year or so. Here are some of the games that you need to look out for.

  • Sniper Elite 3
  • Diablo III: Reaper of Souls ? Ultimate Edition
  • Tropico 5 (Xbox 360)
  • Destiny
  • Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360)
  • Hohokum (PlayStation 3)
  • The Evil Within
  • Far Cry 4
  • Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham
  • Battlefield: Hardline

And of course, games EXCLUSIVE for the last gen consoles only. This could be one of the greatest reasons for keeping them.

  • Ultra Street Fighter IV
  • Tales of Xillia 2
  • Persona 4 Ultimax
  • Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
  • Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Remix
  • Risen 3: Titan Lords

There you have it. So you don?t have to fear that your Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 won?t get much love from the developers and publishers. At least, not yet. It could still stick around for a year and a half, to two.
