X Factor News: Sam Lavery Out, Honey G Disrespects Remembrance Day Performance?

By on

Sam Lavery becomes the latest contestant to be voted out from the X Factor. Lavery?s elimination now leaves the competition with only six acts.

Lavery?s final performance in the X Factor is a rendition of Mary J. Blige?s hit ?No More Drama.? But she lost her chance to become an ?Factor winner after a singing battle with Ryan Lawrie.

Lawrie, on the other hand, performed Oasis? ?Stop Crying Your Heart Out.? Mentor Nicole Scherzinger introduced him as her ?little Scottish rock star.?

It seemed Lavery was trying to hold back her emotions upon learning her faith in the competition. She said ?Thank you, Simon. I look like a completely different person from my first audition, but for all the right reasons.? Lavery also expressed gratitude to her supporters and fans.

X Factor viewers know that Lavery only made it to the live shows as a wildcard choice. Telegraph noted that she is not the one Simon Cowell really wanted. But many fans have seen her determination and seeing her being voted out from the competition makes some viewers sad.

Meanwhile, several fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts about Honey G being ?disrespectful? during Remembrance Day group performance. Some viewers commented that Honey G has just stood around uselessly at the back of the group performance.

Honey G did some urban hand gestures while wearing her trademark cap and sunglasses. Many think that these are inappropriate because the aforementioned performance was supposed to be a proper solemn ensemble number for Remembrance Day.

Movie Week

In spite of Lavery?s sad elimination, fans are hyped to see next week?s episode. The theme will be Movie Week which means all the contestants can sing whatever they wish. It seems next week?s theme is going to be better than Disco Week and Sister Sledge.
