The latest season of X Factor Australia which returned this Sunday has already making headlines. The Sunday?s episode saw some breathe taking performances from the contestants.
However, the performance that stood out was that of Lisa Mondy, 28, from Port Stephens in New South Wales. Lisa, was attached by a shark four years ago in March 2011.
Daily Mail UK?reported that, Lisa told judges James Blunt, Chris Isaak, Dannii Minogue and Guy Sebastian that she hadn’t performed in almost four years after one of the world’s most deadly predators grabbed her in its mouth after she fell from her wakeboard.
She said, ?I was attacked by a shark. It had my whole head and this arm [in its mouth]. I really did think I was going to die,’ she said ahead of her performance of Strong by London Grammar. You know that big accidents can happen, but you don’t really don’t expect it to happen to you.?
The X Factor Australia Season 7 Auditions which began on Sunday night on 7 Network will be hosted by Luke Jacobz while Guy Sebastian, Dannii Minogue, James Blunt and Chris Isaak will serve as judges and mentor.
However, on one end though there is excitement and enthusiasm about the new season, on the other end there is a lot of criticism as well.? The reality TV series has professionals and recycled reality contestants among the acts that successfully auditioned.
There were Voice Kids entrants, an ARIA charting singer who has appeared on Sunrise, and a performer from Network Ten?s ill-fated dancing show, I Will Survive reports Herald Sun.
Well, the good news is that the show has received amazing ratings. X Factor Australia was the most-watched show of the night and had 1.506 million viewers across five metro cities says a report by The Morning Herald.
