This season of X factor has definitely brought about a lot of changes including Nick Grimshaw as the judge.
However, things don?t look pretty good as his absence during boot camp didn?t go down so well. According to Evening Standard, in the second boot camp episode, Grimshaw wasn’t around in the latter two segments ? including the all-important decision-making process where the judges picked the contestants who would be making it through to the Six Chair Challenge ? due to prior working commitments though Grimshaw initially appeared in a video call on a laptop for the decision-making.
And it wasn?t too surprising to see fans take on to Twitter to express their anger. Here?s what they had to say.
Nick Grimshaw is so pointless on X factor

Nick Grimshaw isn't the reason I don't watch X Factor, Nick Grimshaw is the reason I googled assassin!!!

But apparently his absence did not affect the show to such a large extent. The show was apparently fast paced – no endless introductions this week. Instead, we barrelled through 31 performances, one after the other according to Digital Spy.
And with the judges mostly not giving the acts any feedback, the few comments we did see were funnier and more insightful and a bit more honest – they were just speaking to each other rather than couching it in niceties to let the acts down gently. Simon Cowell in particular raised his game comment-wise, bringing back some of the weird analogies we’ve been missing in recent times, the report further stated.
Apart from all this, the show also saw the return of Monica Michael the 25-year-old youth worker made it through to the Six Chair Challenge on last year’s show however Cheryl Fernandez-Versini caused controversy when she kicked her off in a shock move.
However this time around things were different for her. Daily Mail UK?reports that despite the uncertainty surrounding her future, Monica was overjoyed when she was summoned to be told she had succeeded in making it to the next stage.
The Six Chair Challenge was where the talented singer fell last time – meaning the pressure is heightened for her as she heads to the round at Wembley Stadium.
With so much going on the show, this season of X Factor is definitely to watch out for.
