WWE 2K18 has officially been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch, and it will be the legitimate version of the game. It will have all of the new features previously announced for the other versions of the title, including eight-man matches a new graphics engine and more. This should reassure fans who thought they were going to get a lazy port, something the Nintendo Wii ports for the SmackDown vs Raw games were a victim of.
2K Games confirmed the news and even had cover star Seth Rollins endorse the version, which was likely done to give the new version some legitimacy. Interestingly enough, the release date for the game isn’t the same as the one for PS4 and Xbox One, so it looks like it will be coming out sometime after. As of writing, 2K Games only lists the Switch version to launch sometime this Fall. PC versions of the previous WWE games also came out after the original console titles, usually with all the DLC included.
