Xbox One users can now pre-order and pre-download WWE 2K17, Microsoft?s Larry Hyrb has announced. The wrestling video game will be available in two editions: The Standard pre-order edition and Digital Deluxe Pre-Order edition. The standard edition will give players access to two playable versions of Goldberg and two classic arenas. On the other hand, the deluxe edition will bring all the perks of standard edition along with a season pass.
Major Nelson confirmed the availability of WWE 2K17 on his official blog. As the game will be released in October this year, players can start pre-ordering the game. The standard edition is available for US$59.99, and for the Digital Deluxe edition, players will need to pay US$89.99.
The season pass, which can be obtained with the Digital Deluxe edition, will give access to future content. Game developer Visual Concepts will release four DLC packs, and all of them will be available for season pass holders. Additionally, players will also get bonus content. According to Microsoft Studios, the season pass content will be available by March 31, 2017.
WWE 2K17 will feature Brock Lesnar on its cover art. 2K Sports has already confirmed some of the players coming to the game. Players have been waiting for Goldberg?s appearance for quite some time, and the news came as a surprise. Goldberg will be available as a playable character for those who pre-order the game. Goldberg?s appearance in the upcoming game was uncertain, and even the wrestler himself did not reveal any specific details. In a Twitter conversation earlier this year, he hinted at the possibility but didn?t reveal anything.
WWE 2K17 will be officially released on October 11 this year on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Fans who have been anticipating the game should can now sign up for a pre-order.
