WWE 2K17 fans that didn’t pick up the NXT Edition will no longer feel incomplete. Tomorrow, players will be able to download the NXT Enhancement Pack for US$9.99. As most fans know, this WWE 2K17 DLC pack adds Apollo Crews, Nia Jax and Shinsuke Nakamura to the roster. Sadly, this has to be purchased individually and does not come with the season pass.
The official Facebook page of WWE Games announced the release of the DLC pack, so it’s no hoax. It was a grueling wait for some, since Shinsuke Nakamura is a fan favorite. Crews and Jax also have their fair share of fans, but the King of Strong Style is the main selling point.
One of the best parts of having these characters as WWE 2K17 DLC are the new moves. All of these characters have DLC moves and fans can finally use them. Apollo Crews has a military press/standing moonsault combination, along with a cool Sitdown Powerbomb finisher. Nia Jax has power moves that should set her apart from the rest of the female superstars.
While that’s all well and good, Shinsuke’s move-set is the one fans can’t wait to play with. His Kinshasa finisher is really stiff and is one of the deadliest finishers in WWE today. He also has a great Reverse Powerslam that helps set up the move, which looks painful in its own right. Best of all, Shinsuke has specific animations when he and another superstar lock up and reach the ropes.
My Career Enhancement
Aside from new characters, this WWE 2K17 DLC pack adds some enhancements for My Career. Players that start the mode up can power up their character’s attributes right away, giving them an advantage. Those that don’t want to use the enhancement don’t have to, as it’s entirely optional.
WWE 2K17 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. Fans that didn’t pre-order the game can now download Goldberg for US$4.99. More WWE 2K17 DLC is on the way, adding a few new characters like Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Eddie Guerrero and more. ?
