By on

To the surprise of many, a WWE 2K17 DLC pack was released early before being pulled. As many have suspected, it was the Legends Pack, since the most recent updates have added support for it. Though the DLC pack may have been removed, some fans were able to download it and can still use the new characters.

Characters from the Legends Pack include Brutus Beefcake, Eddie Guerrero, Greg Valentine, Sycho Sid and Tatanka. All of these characters come with new moves and taunts. One of them even has a new comeback sequence, which is a nice touch. Though the DLC has been pulled, it seems like fans won’t have to wait too long to get it.

Release Date Confirmed?

According to Power Up Gaming, the PSN Store has listed the release date of the WWE 2K17 DLC?for November 22. If this is true, fans can play as ?Latino Heat? and the other legends next week. Fans with the season pass will be able to download them straight away, though the pack can be purchased separately.

Since some fans were able to get the pack early, they were able to record some gameplay videos. One of those fans was YouTuber SmackTalks, who has captured all of the entrances for the legends. Fans can check them out and see who has the best character model of the bunch. From what can be seen, it’s a close tie between Eddie Guerrero and Greg ?The Hammer? Valentine.

New Moves

While the New Moves pack doesn’t have a release date yet, this WWE 2K17 DLC pack does have its fair share of them. The Direction Gaming was able to show off two new Powerbombs for Sycho Sid and a re-animated Frog Splash for Eddie Guerrero. Overall, it’s a worthy addition to this year’s game, and fans will definitely love it when it officially comes out.

Fans might have to wait for the Legends Pack, but they can tide themselves over with the NXT Enhancement Pack. Now available, this WWE 2K17 DLC pack adds Shinsuke Nakamura, Apollo Crews and Nia Jax to the game. Goldberg is also available in a separate DLC pack, so fans can get their desired Survivor Series result early.
