Wrecked Season 2 has been confirmed with its first season currently getting steady ratings. The new TBS comedy has been renewed along with the network?s other new shows which debuted following their rebranding in January.
The comedy centers on a diverse bunch of survivors of a plane crash who are stranded on a remote island. While surviving together on the island, they encounter numerous threats. Although, these threats are mostly brought on by themselves.
In a report by Variety, Brett Weitz, TBS executive vice president of original programming, said that the comedy is reaching 5.2 million multiplatform viewers from linear, VOD, digital and mobile. It is also among the top 25 scripted series for 2016, and is currently the No. 1 new cable comedy for the 18-49 demographic.
