With the upcoming movie of Warner Bros. ?Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice? just around the corner, it will signal a new DC era that will further open up the movie universe to the world of DC superheroes and villains. This includes Suicide Squad, Green Lantern, and of course Wonder Woman.
Rumors have been surfacing that there might be a crucial link between the plots of Batman V Superman and the Wonder Woman solo film. This event, according to Heroic Hollywood, will center on the villain known as Ares, the god of war, along with legendary sorceress Circe, who might be played by Nicole Kidman.
Check out the plot summary from Screenrant:
?Ares wants a powerful Amazonian sword, which is lock under the power of Themyscira (Paradise Island) that would make him the most powerful god in the universe, so he teams up with Circe to help him start World War III to unlock it. He gains power through psychic energy of death and destruction, which is why he wants to start a war, conquer Olympus, and (in time) destroy Zeus, the sky and thunder god.?
And at the end of Wonder Woman, the powerful sword will disappear that will result in Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman finding the sword in Batman V Superman. In any case, Wonder Woman will still be a mystery until ?Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice? finally comes out.
