Wonder Woman Movie: Production Hits London Showing Gal Gadot In Post WW1 Rally

By on

The forthcoming Wonder Woman movie has started filming in London with star Gal Gadot seen in pictures taken on the set. Along with her was Chris Pine, and the duo were typically dressed in outfit from the World War I set of the movie. Recently, photos of Gadot at the Trafalgar Square in London have also surfaced, this time with Lucy Davis.

It can be said that Davis? presence in the pictures confirms her role in the DC Comics feature. The new photos of the two actresses, Gadot, 30, and Davis, 43, seem to be those of a post-war rally. The photos depicted the Armistice celebrations of November 11, 1918, according to Metro.

Though the British actress? role is not yet confirmed officially, the scenes filmed at the Trafalgar Square gave an idea about the role that Davis would be playing. The favorite receptionist in The Office was seen wearing a ginger wig and 1918 period clothes. Looking at her overall make-p, it looks like she will play the character of Etta Candy in the upcoming movie. Her character is well known as being Wonder Woman?s best friend in the DC Comics.

The London shooting location was seen with actors in period costume. There were union jacks as well as antique cars. Due to the shooting of the film, the buses were diverted as the roads connecting the square were closed.

Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and its scriptwriter is Jason Fuchs. Aside from Gadot, Pine and Davis, the cast of the movie also includes Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright (House of Cards), David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Ewan Bremmer and Elena Anaya.

Wonder Woman is scheduled to be released on June 23, 2017.
