‘Tis the season to be a gamer. Steam?s winter sales has gone live and it looks like game developers are being extra generous this holiday season as well. CD Projekt Red, the developers of the Witcher franchise has decided to reward their Gwent BETA players with free The Witcher Enhanced Edition on GOG!

Witcher Enhanced Edition: Gwent BETA Players Unite

CD Project has been working on their upcoming Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. The card game is set to be a free-to-play collectible card game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The doesn?t have an official release date yet but it already is in it?s beta phase.

Since having more beta players is always great for testing, CD Project is giving away a big incentive for players to join the open beta. All players who sign up for the beta of Gwent will be able to download The Witcher: Enhanced Edition from GOG for free!

Gwent: The WItcher Card Game is a competitive dueling card game. Players will go up against each other in a tricky game style that will have them both bluff and strategically decide on deck construction at the same time.

Players will be challenged to think ahead and plan out their three-row battle plan over a best-of-three rounds. Heroes will light up the game, while special abilities, spells, and deception will be the tools to change the outcome of any match.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was officially the last game in the beloved classic RPG franchise while CD Projekt RED goes on to work on a new sci-fi Cyberpunk 2077 story. Gwent will be a great way to both pay homage to The Witcher franchise and give loyal fans something more from the franchise?s lore.
