The end of August just got a little more stacked. CD Projekt Red has just announced that? The Witcher 3 GOTY (Game of the Year) edition will arrive on August 30.

The Witcher 3 GOTY Edition Coming Aug. 30

The game?s new edition joins a loaded release calendar that includes the likes of World of Warcraft: Legion, The Resident Evil 4 Remaster, and the console release of WWI shooter Verdun. Other heavyweights like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Madden 17 are scheduled to launch one week before the mentioned titles.

Retailing at $49.99, The Witcher 3 GOTY edition looks to be the definitive version of the epic saga. It includes The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and its two stand-alone expansions: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. On top of this, every patch and update as well as the 16 pieces of free DLC initially released during launch will be bundled in as well. The entire package should easily provide players with over 100 hours of thrilling role-playing gameplay. If you haven?t played The Witcher 3 yet, we suggest you make it your top priority.

News of the Game of the Year Edition should reduce some of the fans? disappointment at the delay of the ?Gwent? beta. The Witcher 3?s spin-off card game was supposed to start a closed beta test in September, but CD Projekt said it needs additional time to get everything up to par. You can expect the Gwent beta test to hit some time in October instead.
