Looks like Nam Tae Hyun is not one to sulk over getting plucked out from his former band. The ex-member of Korean band WINNER has already posted on social media that he’s currently looking for members for his upcoming band. He announced on Tumblr his recruitment of male instrumentalists.
Applicants were asked to email him at email@example.com. He was calling out those guys who know how to play the drums, bass, guitar or piano. One must include a short intro about themselves and a clip of you playing your chosen instrument. Oh yes, and a picture as well.
He said the best thing interested parties can do is play the song on his SoundCloud but added it’s good if one can do something he wants to do. He’s only interested in applicants who can play the abovementioned instruments and wanted the form to be written in Korean. He said he will reply after reviewing each application, per IBT.

Nam Tae Hyun’s Departure Announced By YG
Back in November of last year, YG also officially announced Nam Tae Hyun’s leaving the band. It said that the band WINNER had to halt all their promotions because of the mental health issues Nam Tae Hyun was dealing with. YG and his fellow band members placed utmost priority into Nam Tae-hyun’s recovery.

Unfortunately, his mental issue is something he has struggled with ever since he was young. Thus, his return depending on his recovery is uncertain. And so, YG made the conclusion that it’s impossible for the artist to go on promotions with WINNER. On November 18, his contract with YG came to an end as per all Kpop.
Despite his absence from WINNER, YG wishes for him and his ex-bandmates to still be friends and colleagues who continue supporting each other in their individual music endeavors. The band is continuously preparing for future promotions and they will not add any additional member to fill Nam Tae-hyun’s shoes. YG also appealed to fans for support.
