?Winds of Winter? will have an interesting plot twist, and it is reported that it could not be adapted into TV version. George R.R. Martin revealed through his blog that story would be about The Reeds.

The author says that his highly-anticipated sixth book is impossible to adapt into HBO TV series “Game of Thrones.” He reasons that the upcoming book would revolve around a character, which has been killed-off in show, while it is still alive in his book ?A Song of Ice and Fire? series.

It is highly expected that George R.R. Martin’s “Winds of Winter” would more likely focus on Jojen Reed and his family. The book will also reveal the story of Stannis Baratheon and Jeyne Westerling.

Book fans have seen Howland Reed?s strong role and are considered to be the ?best bet? for the twist in the story, according to Morning News USA. However, this part was not adapted in HBO?s ?Game of Thrones?.

There are several fan theories floating on the internet. One of the theories says that the twist might involve the move of The Reed Castle, Jojen?s vision power or Greywater Watch. Some even say that Jon Snow and Meera could be related in George R.R. Martin’s “Winds of Winter”

While another fan theory suggest that Howland Reed had witnessed Lyana Stark’s death, so The Reeds would be the ones who can verify Snow?s bloodline.

However, Kit Harington, who plays the role of Jon Snow in ?Game of Thrones? was dead in the season six of the show. The actor had revealed that his character is already dead in the series.

“They should tune in and watch because whatever happens in the next season will be very exciting,” the actor said to BBC last month.

“But Jon Snow is dead I’m afraid. I think [fans’ speculation] is great for the show – but they shouldn’t get their hopes up about anything because Game of Thrones is very good at dashing hopes,” said Harington.

Rumors are rife that Jon Snow will be the part of the plot twist for George R.R. Martin’s “Winds of Winter.” It is worth noting that there around 15 other characters who are still alive in the book series but not in the “Game of Thrones”.
