?Winds Of Winter? Release Date Taking Too Long? ?Game Of Thrones? Season 6 May Finish Before The Book!

By on

As to what you would expect from George R.R. Martin, the writer has no plans to announce the ?Winds of Winter? release date. The Game of Thrones author has declined to answer the question of when the release date of his next book is coming out, from the ?Song of Ice and Fire? series, according to Screenrant.

?Don?t ask me when the book is going to be done ? I?ll ask my minions to lop your head off,? Martin jokingly said when someone asked him about the next book at the Sanquan science-fiction convention in Washington, shared by Screenrant.

With the fast development of HBO?s TV adaptation of George R.R. Martin?s novels, ?Winds of Winter? might not finish ahead of season 6 of ?Game of Thrones.? ?The show is moving forward like a locomotive, or sometimes a jet locomotive,? Martin shared.

?They?re writing 60-page scripts, I?m writing 1,500-page novels. So who the hell knows?? The series has certainly been ahead of the curve since it has been already in production, but the writer isn?t disturbed about anything. ?Worrying about it isn?t going to change it one way or another.?

Martin has embraced the possibility that the series may overtake his books, much more overshadow it. ?I still sit down at the typewriter, and I have to write the next scene and the next sentence. I?m just going to tell my story, and they?re telling their story and adapting my books, and we shall see,? the writer shared, according to Screenrant.

Previous reports have suggested that George R.R. Martin will try to finish writing his next novel before season 6 of ?Game of Thrones? return to HBO, shared by Screenrant. So in the meantime, let?s not bother him and his novels. ?Winds of Winter? will be followed by his seventh and maybe the final book, ?A Dream of Spring.?
