Westworld Trailer Sparks Interest In Bone Tomahawk; Where To Catch Kurt Russell Movie

By on

HBO recently released a brand new trailer for their upcoming sci-fi series Westworld. Somehow, it is being compared to the 2015 movie Bone Tomahawk as they both have the same thrill. So, let us discuss the plots of these two western movies.

On September 13, the TV network released a new video to tease the fans about the show. It featured a lot of world of dreams. It also presented theme park attendees such as Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood) and Teddy Flood (James Marsden). The creator of the Westworld theme park, Dr. Robert Ford, was also present in the new trailer.

Westworld is based on Michael Crichton?s 1973 film of the same title. It is about robots, or what they called ?hosts?, who gained consciousness, which turned out to be a problem for the humans. However, unlike the movie, the series is going to focus more on the hosts? perspective. So, at first, expect a lot of wonderings from them as they discover who they really are.

On the other hand, Bone Tomahawk is a horror western movie. It is about a tribe of cannibals killing travellers who crossed their territory. As the clan kills one victim after another, Sheriff Franklin Hunt investigates the murder case. He was later informed that the suspect of these crimes is the tribe called Troglodyte.

The clan has managed to capture the sheriff?s deputy Nick, Samantha and Purvis. So, with the intention of saving them, Hunt and foreman Arthur O?Dwyer went to the Valley of the Starving Men where the clan is residing. The movie then turns into a classic cannibals-versus-men as the latter tried to save their own kind.

Now, the question is, what makes the two shows similar? Obviously, their plots are not the same. Westworld will feature artificial intelligence as the killers, while Bone Tomahawks had cannibals. What is identical, though, is the thrilling experience you will get by watching the movie and the upcoming TV series. Plus, they are both western-based shows so they are somehow similar.

Although Westworld has not been released yet, through this new trailer and the movie where it is based, it is safe to assume that it will bring terror as well. But, to give you the chance to have your own comparison of the two, you can watch Bone Tomahawk on fmovies.to and putlocker-hd.com. Then, you can compare it to Westworld once the series premieres October 2 on HBO.
