Westworld Season 2 Spoilers: Dolores to Become Fearsome

In an interview of The Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy revealed that Dolores will play season two violently. Joy said in the interview, “I think it’s impossible to imagine ? if you’ve been subjected to the violence and seen the evil Dolores has seen, the pendulum wouldn’t swing the other way, as we see it starting to do in the finale.”

On the contrary, the creator followed up, “But there’s a point, too, where I think selfhood transcends the reactionary. The question will be when the dust settles and the pendulum stops swinging, who will Dolores be?”

Additional Worlds Confirmed for Season 2

The finale also hinted about an existence of other world, apart from Westworld. It was during Meave’s attempt to escape that a different themed world appeared. The community featured samurai warriors and showed an “SW” logo which might mean “Samurai World”.

At the same interview, both creators confirmed of the Samurai World. Joy said, “This allows us a lot of access to Asian actors and the Asian community, which is very important to me as part Asian myself.”

On the other hand, Nolan stated that the second season will still be focusing on Westworld and not the outside world. He said, “So Westworld the place and the idea of it remains central to our story as we go forward.”
