More Action Less Comedy?

So far, the teaser features Gintoki in an intense action scene, something that will surely get you hyped for its premiere. And although we are missing Gintama?s signature comical antics for this teaser, based on reports, the Gintama live action adaptation is guaranteed to follow the original storyline.

Covered in blood, Gintoki fights off alien enemies that have taken over the feudal era of Japan. Shown briefly in the preview, together with Gintoki (Shun Oguri), are Shinpachi (Masaki Suda) and Kagura (Kanna Hashimoto). So do not fret cause in a matter of time, the official trailer will give us more of the funny, crazy, and hilarious scenes from our beloved Gintama anime series.

According to reports,?Gintama Season 8 will also be back on television this January 2017, something that is much awaited by a lot of anime fans. Airing on TXN (TV Tokyo), the action-comedy anime series will continue from the season 7 finale, ?Farewell Shinsengumi?. The rebellion manages to escape but at the expense of putting Sasaki?s life on the line. Kondo and his group bade farewell as they leave Edo. ?

Next is the Fullmetal Alchemist live action movie, directed by Fumihiko Sori. Japanese actor Ryosuke Yamada plays Edward Elric, the lead character. While his brother, Alphonse Elric, will be pretty much a badass CGI. The said movie is said to feature a European setting with the mix of Japanese culture carried out by the cast. ?
