The rise of virtual reality games is paving the way for a good future in gaming as it paves the way for more unique and immersive experiences. While VR headsets are initially expensive, a few manufacturers have cut down their selling price. Even the Oculus Rift is cheaper than what it was once. Apparently, this drop in price also helped the sales of a few NSFW games like VR Kanojo.

The Oculus Rift headset and the Touch Controllers is now sold at half the original price it was originally set at. One of the pioneers in VR gaming is now relatively cheaper than the PlayStation VR. Thanks to this, more and more players has access to the Oculus Rift.

With the significantly larger install base of the Oculus Rift, VR game developers are getting more profit from the gaming community. More specifically, developers of adult VR games have the better end of the bargain as players are very interested in titles like these.

VR Girlfriend, also known as VR Kanojo, is one of the many adult VR games that have a huge jump in sales thanks to the cheaper selling price of the Oculus Rift. The game’s developer recently tweeted that the game has seen a 200% jump in sales.

VR Kanojo isn’t the only game benefiting from the Oculus Rift price though. Game Revolution reports that Waifu Sex Simulator saw a similar growth in sales after the price drop. This led to more supporters for the title over at Patreon.

Game Revolution adds that adult VR games are a cornerstone in VR sales. Most of the VR headsets are bought with the intent of players being to play adult VR games. This number will continue to grow in the future. If there’s one factor we can attribute to help the rise of VR, it’s definitely has to do with mature VR games.
