The Voice 2016 finale left most of us surprised. It was Sundance Head who took home the crown. If you were shocked that he was proclaimed as the ultimate winner, you are not alone. Even The Voice 2016 finale winner did not expect his victory too.
Head speaks up about The Voice 2016 finale results and admits that he was very shocked. He said he predicted that Billy Gilman will be The Voice 2016 winner the whole time. But Head, (and probably most of us), was wrong all along.
The 37-year-old country singer defeated Team Adam Levine?s Billy Gilman and Josh Gallagher and Team Alicia Keys’s W? McDonald. Gilman ended up in second place. McDonald landed in the third spot while Gallagher was the fourth placer.
A Well-Deserved Win
While it seems Gilman is the fan favorite, Head?s ?Darlin’ Don’t Go? might just be a solid proof that he deserves to be The Voice 2016 winner. It was an original song, written with the help of his wife.
The latest The Voice winner has nothing but praises for his coach. He describes Blake Shelton as very sweet and nice guy. He said, ?You see him on TV and you think, he can’t really be that cool and that nice, and you meet him in person and it’s like Nickelodeon all day.”
E News mentioned that Head would be totally willing to sing at the wedding of Shelton and Gwen Stefani, if ever they will have one. It seems Head would also love it if his coach will name his kid after him. Sundance is a great name, isn?t it?
Head is the son of Texas musician, Roy. One of the sweetest moments during The Voice 2016 finale was when the winner started weeping as his wife and three children joined him onstage. Roy reportedly cried tears of joy too. Head took home $100,000 and a record deal.
