The Chinese smart-phone manufacturer Vivo plans to unveil its most powerful smart-phone yet with launch of its X6 flagship phone.
The ?faster than iPhone 6? smart-phone is a power packed mean machine with MediaTek?s deca-core Helio X20 processor and upgraded 4GB RAM. It is rumored to have exclusive 1GB RAM for graphics. The phone also features a powerful rear facing 21 mega pixel Sony camera and 12 mega pixel front camera. It has double the hardware capabilites than the Vivo X5Pro that was launched in July 2015 by the company.
According to Digital Trends, the screen size of the X6 is still unknown but expected to be varying between 5.2 inch to 6 inch. The QHD display will be equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.0 protection and apparently support ?Force Touch? touchscreen technology similar to that used in Apple Watch. The Viva X6 phone will also feature a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. The scanner with 360-degree fingerprint rotation capacity will allow for online payments similar to that as Samsung and Apple Pay, besides the usual security and protection functions. The phone is reported to be only 4mm thick making it one of the slimmest smart-phones in the market. The all metal designed body of Vivo X6 phone will likely come in Gold, Silver and Rose Gold varieties. The phone supports Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and powerful 4000mAh battery to run it.
The power packed X6 clearly out performs the iPhone 6S if the YouTube video of the company showing the comparison between the two is to be believed. The video shows the VivoX6 opening apps faster than the iPhone 6s with its exceedingly better multi-tasking capabilities.
The company plans to launch the Vivo X6 on December 16 coinciding with the holiday season. The price of the phone is expected to range within $300 to $450 like the company?s similar high end devices.
