By on

Vikings Season 4 premiere is this fall and it seems like Ivar the Boneless will take over the show as he tries to build his reputation in the land and conquer every region. The midseason premiere will also feature his relationship with his father, Ragnar Lothbrok.

In the latest trailer released for the show?s fourth season, Ivar was featured in most part including his struggles of becoming the great leader of the land. ?One day the world will know and fear Ivar the Boneless,? said his father Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel). According to the history of England, Ivar is going to conquer every land except Wessex, where King Alfred, son of Athelstan, reigns. Also, it was written that King Alfred is going to be the one to drive all the Vikings out of England, so it seems like a war between him and Ivar is going to be inevitable in the upcoming seasons of the show. However, it would be quite ironic because they are the sons of two close buddies.

If the next season is going to be the rise of Ivar the Boneless, then it would mean someone is going to fall. Although there is no confirmation yet whether or not Ragnar Lothbrok will fall in the upcoming installment of the Vikings, it is certain that the Kattegat King will try to have a payback at King Ecbert.

It can be recalled that King Ecbert betrayed Ragnar and Lagertha in the Vikings season 3 by ordering the killing of Norse farmers, women and children entrusted to his care in England. As a result of Ragnar?s desire to get back at King Ecbert, he would try to regain the trust of his men, especially his sons, in the upcoming midseason premiere.

Also, according to Parent Herald, the main focus of the season is going to be the relationship between Ragnar Lothbrok and his sons Bjorn Ironside, Ubba, Sigurd Snake-In-The-Eye and Ivar the Boneless, who are all going to be featured as grownups already. If that is the case, then the time for Ivar the Boneless to rule all the land is not going to happen in Season 4.
