Uncontrollably Fond?s ratings drop has been acknowledged by cast member Kim Woo Bin. Now, the KBS drama?s lead star is giving more details about how this has affected him and Suzy Bae.

The 27-year-old was featured in the August issue of Elle Korea magazine. He again talks about how he worries about the show, which is already scheduled to end one month from now.

The Hallyu heartthrob specifically addressed how he hopes to get more female viewers and asks for advice from his leading lady.

?While on set, I would ask Suzy a lot of questions,? Kim Woo Bin said in the Elle Korea feature. ?Guys will like Suzy no matter what she does, but for me, it?s a hit or miss.?

?When I?m confused or not sure, I also even ask the female staff on set,? he added.

Kim Woo Bin made news last week after he issued an official statement on his fansite about Uncontrollably Fond?s ratings decline. The show dropped to third place in Nielsen Korea?s latest Content Power Index (CPI) report after it gathered only 242.2 CPI points. Its rival show, MBC?s W Korean drama, topped the ratings game with 273.3 points. SBS? Doctors placed second with 266.4 points.

Kim Woo Bin apologized to those who have seen the romantic drama, where he stars as an arrogant celebrity named Shin Joon Young. He plays the love interest of an independent yet weird documentary producer named No Eul, played by Suzy Bae.

?As the drama passes the halfway mark, I?m embarrassed,? Kim Woo Bin said.

Uncontrollably Fond?s mediocre performance has also been highlighted because of the phenomenal success of another KBS series, Descendants of the Sun. ?The network has been building up the follow-up project after the hit wartime drama ended last April, but Kim Woo Bin confessed that he is worried that they ?were not able to meet expectations.?

KBS Network wanted “Uncontrollably Fond” to be the next “Descendants of the Sun”

However, the actor clarified that he is still thankful to have been part of Uncontrollably Fond. He said that he learned a lot of different emotions while playing Shin Joon Young and that he was able to reflect on a lot of things while filming.

Do you think that Uncontrollably Fond ratings can still increase? KBS has intended it to run until the first week of September only, so what do you think can Kim Woo Bin and the rest of the cast and production team do with just a month left before its finale? Let us know by commenting below.
