Uncharted 4 Gets Survival Mode Update Release This Week! Can Be Played Solo And With Friends

By on

The Uncharted 4 Survival Mode will be available this week and it has gotten fans excited. Multiplayer has always been fun in the fourth Uncharted installment, so having a new mode with new maps is great. Single players have nothing to worry about as well since the mode can also be played solo.

Naughty Dog announced the mode on their official website, even revealing some gameplay footage. Fans that want to see more gameplay are in luck, as a livestream of the mode will debut on Twitch. Curious gamers can catch the stream for Survival Mode at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. CET on December 13.

Survive If They Let You

As stated previously, the Uncharted 4 Survival Mode can be played solo or with friends via online play. The mode will have players complete various challenges throughout the game mode, so killing everyone isn’t the only goal of the new mode. Judging from the trailer, it seems like players will have to collect items or maybe kill the most enemies to win.

As if that wasn’t enough, the end of the trailer reveals a fairly surprising boss available in this mode. Players can face off against an undead pirate during the mode. This should give Uncharted fans a decent challenge.

More Uncharted Goodness

While no concrete release date for the Uncharted 4 Survival Mode was given, it will come out sometime this week. Best of all, it will be free, so fans won’t have to pay extra for the potentially fun mode. Along with this mode, a number of new weapons and maps are going to be announced in the livestream.

Although the Uncharted 4 Survival Mode can be played solo, fans who want a story can wait for the new expansion. Christened as ?The Lost Legacy,? players will control fan favorite character Chloe, who was absent from most of the campaign, aside from a brief mention at the start. Uncharted 4 is available now on the PS4.
