Despite the sneakerheads still having trouble in grabbing the ?much hyped? Ultra Boost Uncaged, Adidas will debut three more colorways of the popular performance sneakers this weekend. With a high demand from the public, the Adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged edition is now set to be offered in a variety of colored-boost iterations this season.
This weekend, Adidas is launching the Ultra Boost Uncaged in white, red and black. Each colorway features a heathered Primeknit upper and a tonal matching sole. In addition to a pair with a white upper and the white midsole, there?s a black pair with a black midsole and a red pair with a red midsole to essentially create a monochromatic design.
Though with the white Boost peeking through the outsole on the bottom of the shoe, it seems Adidas hasn’t colored the material itself, instead solving their problem with a paint application.
Adidas has enjoyed quite a success with its Boost midsole found on various silhouettes including on running shoes and Yeezys. UltraBoost Uncaged is their latest Primeknit-laden running shoe devoid of an upper ?cage? to achieve the low-profile sock-like feel. The new iteration of these popular shoes loses their typical plastic shell for a more free fit. The new sneakers also boasts of familiar Ultra Boost aspects such as a supportive heel counter, a full-length Boost midsole, and a Stretchweb Continental Rubber outsole.
In fact, according to the shoes? creator/designer and vice president of Adidas Running, Ben Herath, Uncaged was inspired by fans who cut the cages of their sneakers for a more relaxed fit.
?What makes this (UltraBoost Uncaged) so outstanding is that it was largely inspired from our fans,? Heratht told BeStreet. ?We might not have brought this to life if we didn?t see so many people cutting the cage off their Ultra Boosts. So, I would like to say a big thank you to anyone out there who uncaged their Ultra Boosts. You inspired us to make this shoe a reality!?
The new sneakers will be available at adidas.com and stores on July 16, but since they tend to sell out really quick, even at $180, it is better to get to the stores fast. Also, feel free to check out the black colorway of Adidas NMD City that debuts this weekend too.
