UFC 85 Hunt vs. Mir Prediction
The American two-time heavyweight champion Frank Mir is a +138 favorite against Mark Hunt?s -158. Hunt, 41 and New Zealand-born ?Super Samoan,? has said that the fight is likely his last run on the road to a possible title on later UFC fights this year. ?If I lose any one of these fights then I might as well just call it a day,? he said.
Meanwhile, Mir, 36, is apparently also contemplating the same thing: ?I think coming back and being have to have a very dominant showing against Mark would put me right back in line for talk of maybe one more fight in 2016, setting up for a title shot.?
The winner of the Hunt vs. Mir card will face a top-five ranking fighter on the next round and a shot at a belt. It?s looking more and more the last chance we?ll see these two behemoths face-to-face or in the octagon, if at all.
