UFC 2 Update: New Fighting Modes To Watch Out For, Ronda Rousey Graces New Game’s Cover And More

EA Sports UFC 2 is going to feature bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey as a feature athlete on its new cover. Ronda Rousey who is one the world?s premier UFC fighters was really happy to be involved and said ?As a gamer myself, its pretty surreal to be on the cover of the game and to have a woman on the cover of a UFC game shows a lot of progress.?

The EA Sports has officially announced the release of EA Sports UFC 2, the sequel to its debut game in mixed martial arts genre. The first UFC game was released last year for both Xbox One and PS4 which was followed by a mobile version of the game. EA announced its plans to launch several games after it acquired the UFC rights from THQ back in 2012.

EA Sports has added two new fighting modes that didn?t exist in the previous game. The new modes are KO Mode and Ultimate Team. The game also lets you create female characters in the newly revamped Career mode which didn?t exist in before. Also EA has introduced the Grapple Assist feature in the game that helps players improve and master their skills according to the details provided to GameSpot. EA has taken fan feedback seriously to provide better grappling controls and on-boarding experience as well as deeper modes. The UFC has also updated its graphic and animation features according to EA Sports UFC senior producer Brian Hayes. The game will include updates to in-game lighting, the facial animation system and lot of new physics and rendering details according to Hayes. The new game boasts new knockout physics system to deliver new realistic animations.

EA hasn?t revealed any names beyond Rousey as ?to who will join her on the cover but the company has promised the game will have ?biggest ever roster.??UFC 2 can be pre-ordered through EA Sport?s website and will be available for Xbox One and Playstation 4 consoles in Spring 2016.
