Time for some True Detective Season 3 spoilers; that is if there will be a third season at all. Many fans though are hoping for one as both the first and second seasons were done quite well garnering the show many nominations and awards. These accolades include seven Creative Arts Emmy Awards nominations with the show winning four of them in 2014. Also, in 2015, True Detective was hailed as the year?s Best International Programme by the British Academy Television Awards.

Now, should HBO and the True Detective producers? work on a third season? Michael Lombardo, HBO president, revealed that he is considering a third season if True Detective creator Nic Pizzolatto is interested and eager. Lombardo, according to TVLine, said that he is thrilled to continue HBO?s relationship with Pizzolatto. He also praised Pizzolatto as one of the most exceptionally talented writers and producers in the business these days. This puts the ball in Pizzolatto?s court and we have not heard much of the possibility of a True Detective Season 3 airing for quite a while.

Well, not until Olivia Munn decided to post this on Instagram last April 13, 2016.

This could seem far off at the moment and it?s best not to keep our hopes up for now. Stay tuned for more True Detective Season 3 spoilers and updates.
