Fans who can?t seem to get enough of the highly successful ?Transformers? movie franchise can now look forward to more characters in Transformers 5, according to the Parent Herald. As a former member of the ?Transformers? writers, ?The Walking Dead? creator Robert Kirkman confirmed during an interview of what he knows about the latest developments – that additional transformers were part of the plan.

Kirkman relinquished his position as one of the ?Transformers? writers after he underwent throat surgery; also the reason why he wasn?t able to attend the recent Comic Con event. Current plans for Transformers 5 include its filming, which will transpire in Michigan. Although there is no official start date of filming, the team targets the summer season to start the shooting.

Paramount Pictures? President of Physical Production Lee Rosenthal said ?Michigan has been so welcoming of Michael Bay and the Transformers movies over the years, and we are thrilled to be returning for this nest incredible installment.?

In news by the Day Herald, Bay confirmed that fellow director J.J. Abrams indeed admitted that he is the best man to direct the film. But Bay did express his thoughts about the film, saying that while he has enjoyed making the film, he has no plans of doing other Transformers movies this fifth installment. Instead, he?s looking forward to working on other projects.

He also said that he would love to watch another ?Transformers? sequel under the supervision of another director. Bay also confirmed that casting call has already started and warns those who wish to audition to prepare to be relocated in different parts of the U.S. and United Kingdom.

Mark Wahlberg is a confirmed cast of Transformers 5; and as assumed, Optimus Prime will return to outer space to make a deal with the Quintessons, with Wahlberg teaming up with Ultra Magnus, Optimus Prime?s second in-command to protect the Earth.
